Review: By Ute Summary: Transformers tells the story of an advanced intelligent race of robots who have destroyed their home planet through civil wars and have come to earth in search of the cube that is the source of their living materials. The good guys (the autobots) hope to find the cube while not harming any humans, while the bad guys (the decepticons) want to get their hands on the cube at all costs. Why You Should See This Movie: Transformers is one of the few blockbuster action movies to truly deliver in years. The action and effects are absolutely impressive, yet the acting and storytelling are also pretty darn good as action movies go. Shia Lebouf does a fantastic job as the lead actor and makes several scenes very very good. The effects behind the robots are just incredible as watching a huge robot turn into a fighter jet and taking off never gets old. Why You Shouldn't See This Movie: If you arent much for big action movies, you wont like this, although if you are going to watch one, this is it. Conclusion: Transformers is a perfect summer blockbuster with tons of fun exciting action scenes mingled in with some pretty darn good acting and storytelling. |
