Review:

Summary:
Starsky and Hutch is the movie adaptation of a popular 70?s TV show about two cops on opposite ends of the police spectrum. David Starsky, played by Ben Stiller and Ken Hutch, played by Owen Wilson are put together as partners when both of them irritate the police chief enough to warrant punishment. Their opposite personalities are the main source of entertainment as they go on a relatively meaningless pursuit of a typical bad guy, played by Vince Vaughn.
Why You Should See This Movie:
Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller give their typical performances that are not oscar worthy but generate a few laughs. I think people who are familiar with the TV series would get quite a bit more out of the jokes than me.
Why You Shouldn't See This Movie:
There isn?t too much to this show other than the occasional laugh from Wilson and Stiller. The movie tends to drag through several portions and the plot is really pretty stale and average.
Conclusion:
Starsky and Hutch is a mildly entertaining movie that is worth checking out if you are a fan of Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson, or of the TV show, otherwise it is probably not worth your time.
