Summary:
Cars is Pixar/Disney's latest installment in their animated picture dynasty that tells the story of a solitary racing car who is the best, but is not willing to take help from anyone. Lightning Mcqueen (Owen Wilson) is on the verge of becoming the first rookie race driver to win the Piston Cup, when he is forced to take a detour in a remote redneck town filled with people that are not his type. The time he spends with them teaches him alot about who he wants to be, and he comes out of that experience a better race car.
Why You Should See This Movie:
Pixar/Disney raises the bar very high for themselves (Toy Story, Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo) and this film measures up. Equal to the megahits mentioned above, Cars is the best film of the year so far. Everything about the film is fabulous - from the inspiring story to the flawless animation and the hilarious voices (Larry the Cable Guy is abolutely perfect). The difference between Pixar/Disney and other studios is their incredible attention to detail as well as the amazing ability to make movies that adults would enjoy without their kids.
Why You Shouldn't See This Movie:
People of all ages and demographics would appreciate and thoroughly enjoy this incredible animated film.
Conclusion:
Cars is a perfect animated film that can easily stand beside Pixar/Disney classics like Toy Story, Monster Inc and Finding Nemo.
