Review:

Summary:
In America is a dramatic film about a young Irish family who immigrates to America in order to start a new life. Their past is haunted by the fact that their young son died in a very unfortunate accident at home. The family meets a strange, mysterious man (Djimon Hounsou) who inspires them to move on and put their unfortunate past behind them.
Why You Should See This Movie:
This film was really an impressive film that wasn?t promoted very well, as it snuck by a lot of people unnoticed. The acting was pretty great all the way around with Samantha Morton being nominated for Best Actress. The story was inspiring and several scenes were very intriguing. The film starts off a little slow, but builds well through the movie to a great conclusion.
Why You Shouldn't See This Movie:
There wasn?t anything really poor about this film and I think is worth anyone seeing.
Conclusion:
In America is a great dramatic film telling a great story that is worth anyone seeing on DVD.
