Summary:
Downfall is a historical film telling the story of Hitler?s last days at the end of the second World War told from the perspective of his secretary. The film shows how Hitler felt as though he still could win the war despite Berlin being surrounded and his armies laying in a shambles.

Why You Should See This Movie:
The best part of this film by far is Bruno Ganz?s portrayal of Adolf Hitler. He so effectively demonstrated how crazy and out of control angry Hitler would get as the bad news continued to stream in. The film told the story of the end of the war from a unique perspective and was very blunt and truthful in its description. The movie was directed very well and the story told was intriguing and interesting.

Why You Shouldn't See This Movie:
Although this film did not quite measure up to a Schindler?s List or Saving Private Ryan, I still feel like a movie like this needs to be seen by all in order to gain a better understanding of the craziness of Adolf Hitler.

Conclusion:
Downfall is a Second World War movie told from a new and interesting perspective also with an absolutely stunning performance by Bruno Ganz as Adolf Hitler.
