Summary:
Munich is the story of the Israeli response to the kidnapping and murder of 9 athletes during the 1972 Olympics. Eric Bana is the main character who leads a team of assassins who attempt to track down the planners of the terrorist attack and eliminate them.

Why You Should See This Movie:
Munich is one of those everyone should see movies that helps tell a story that should be heard. The themese of endless violence, the importance of family and the need for different groups of the world to make peace are ones that everyone needs to take to heart. The acting in this film is top notch for sure, with Eric Bana giving a wonderful performance as well as all of the supporting cast. The film is very long at just under 3 hours but is intriguing from start to finish and keeps your attention mostly due to its intensity. Steven Speilberg does an excellent job for the most part at crafting a film full of emotion and power. My only critique is that he went overboard at times in terms of intensity and in length.

Why You Shouldn't See This Movie:
The film is full of intense scenes of violence and some nudity and could definitely offend some, although I personally felt like the violence was warranted and was not put in the film needlessly.

Conclusion:
Munich is an incredible film that deserved it's nomination for Best Picture, as it is a movie that will be important for people to see for generations to come.
