Review:
By Ute
Summary:
Iris is the story of an english writer and her romance with her husband. The story switches back and forth between her life as a young woman and her current life in which she struggles with Alzheimer's disease.
Why You Should See This Movie:
There was absolutely no value in this film for me as I was thoroughly bored by it.
Why You Shouldn't See This Movie:
The main point of any movie in my opinion has to have something to do with an interesting plot, and this one did not even have a mildly intriguing one. The story went nowhere and was so boring I almost fell asleep merely keeping an eye on it as I did something else. Judi Dench was nominated for an Oscar merely to appease the English acting guild I think as her performance was as boring as the story was.
Conclusion:
Iris is a painfully boring movie with no redeeming qualities to it that you should definitely not waste your time with.
