Review:

Summary:
Pulp Fiction is a cult film by Quentin Tarantino that brings the world of drugs and violence to the screen in an odd, quirky way. The film begins with a scene where a couple are talking in a coffee shop, and quickly turns into a robbery, with the couple behind the guns. The film then takes several flashforwards and flashbacks to tell the rest of the story. John Travolta and Samuel L Jackson play two hit men on a killing rampage. Bruce Willis plays a boxer who double crosses his boss in attempts to swindle cash away from him.
Why You Should See This Movie:
This is really a film that movie lovers should all see at some point for several reasons. First, Tarantino does a great job at crafting a film that is both completely off the wall, yet comes together at the end. The acting, especially by Jackson is superb, with everyone involved giving great efforts. The film is long at 2 and ? hours, but because of how bizarre the film is, I was interested throughout, if for no other reason than to see just how strange the movie could get.
Why You Shouldn't See This Movie:
After all was said and done, I wasn?t really that impressed by the plot. The convoluted presentation was not a problem for me, I just didn?t think the story had much in terms of redeeming value. The movie was also incredible violent and full of powerful language that will definitely offend you if you are not up for an in your face film.
Conclusion:
Mostly because of it?s incredible cult following, Pulp Fiction is a must see for all movie lovers, yet one that will offend some if language and violence are not your bag.
