Summary:
In Good Company is a real life film about a middle aged guy (Dennis Quaid as Dan) who has a good job as an advertisement executive and a great family. His life is turned upside down when his company is bought by a larger media conglomerate and a young upstart business exec (Topher Grace as Carter) is put in charge of the advertising department. As Carter tries to assert his authority over his department, he meets Dan?s daughter Alex (Scarlett Johansson) and begins a relationship with her that puts all of their relationships in a touchy situation.

Why You Should See This Movie:
I had reasonable expectations for this film going in, and I was actually pleasantly surprised. I thought the acting by the above three actors was flawless. Topher Grace was awesome at creating a character that was real about his frustrations regarding taking over a successful department and being viewed as an outsider. Scarlett Johansson lights up the screen with every scene with her stunning looks and effortless acting. Dennis Quaid also plays a role made for him at this stage of his life as the aging but wise old guy. The film attempted successfully to pack a lot of life changing events into one film and it did so without leaving the movie feeling cluttered or rushed. The film had great music inserted throughout keeping the film rolling in between scenes. The story as mentioned above was very well put together and felt very real.

Why You Shouldn't See This Movie:
I really thought everything about the film was perfect with the exception of the ending, which without giving it away I thought was the wrong choice.

Conclusion:
In Good Company is a great film filled with wonderful acting, music, and a great story filled with life lessons and interesting moral choices.
